CED7942 Internship II

Continuation of CED7932: Counseling Internship I, with growing autonomy as appropriate to the student’s developing skill level. The student participates in the counseling process as counselor/ co-counselor under supervision of licensed mental health professionals. Weekly individual and group supervision. Information on licensure and credentialing is provided, and professional identity with the clinical mental health counseling profession and marital and family counseling profession is discussed. A portion of the face-to-face counseling hours in either Practicum, Internship I or Internship II must be in a group setting. The student must accumulate a minimum of 300 hours on-site, of which a minimum of 130 hours must be in direct service to clients. Graded Pass/Fail. Spring
