CED7932 Internship I
Provides participation in the counseling process as counselor/co-counselor under supervision of licensed mental health professionals. Includes weekly individual and group supervision. Additional experience will be obtained in an external setting. Students must accumulate 300 on-site hours, of which a minimum of 130 hours must be in direct service. A portion of the face-to-face counseling hours in either Practicum, Internship I or Internship II must be in a group setting. Information on licensure and credentialing is provided, and professional identity with the clinical mental health counseling profession and marital and family counseling profession is discussed. Graded Pass/Fail.

CED6922: Counseling Practicum, Approval for continuance on the Student Performance and Dispositions Review, and Advisor may recommend or require additional courses or other remedial work.
