Exit Requirements: School of Counseling

During their last semester, students in the M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling are required to complete the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE) and be approved by the Richmont faculty through the Student Performance and Dispositions Review (SPDR) process. These steps represent an important aspect of the gatekeeping and competency evaluation system for all graduates of Richmont’s counseling programs.
