MIN6424 Missional Theology
This course brings students into conversation with a key component of contemporary Anglican thought: missional theology. Particular focuses include: contextual hermeneutics in biblical interpretation; cultural analysis in the service of relevant ministry; critical theologizing in the midst of emergent social issues; and applied ecclesial ethics. This course contains a summative project where students must synthesize distinctive elements of the Anglican tradition with a missional approach to the church's place in the modern world.
