Provides an opportunity for students to participate in additional studies in this content area that are not part of the standard curriculum schedule. Unless specifically noted in course announcements, special topics courses will not count toward degree requirements. Depending on the nature of the course offering, prerequisites may apply. May be repeated for credit.
