Richmont Graduate University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award master’s and doctoral-level degrees. Richmont Graduate University also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. State Accreditation
Richmont Graduate University is authorized by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Committee and the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. This authorization is renewed annually based on an evaluation of minimum standards concerning the quality of education, ethical business practices, health and safety, and fiscal responsibility.

National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement
Richmont Graduate University is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). A “State authorization reciprocity agreement” is an agreement between two or more States that authorizes an institution located and legally authorized in a State covered by the agreement to provide postsecondary education through distance education or correspondence courses to students in other States covered by the agreement. Participation in NC-SARA is voluntary and requires an annual renewal. SARA authorizes Institutions that are members to provide online education to students from all SARA member states.
