Statement on Nondiscrimination
Richmont does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, handicap or disability, or age in any of its policies, procedures, or practices in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (pertaining to race, color, and national origin), Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (pertaining to gender), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (pertaining to handicap), and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (pertaining to age). This nondiscrimination policy covers admission and access to Richmont programs and activities as well as employment at Richmont. Additionally, Richmont opposes physical abuse, verbal abuse, or implied threat toward any person. Richmont courses are taught from a Christian perspective.
Richmont does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and other school-administered programs. Richmont recognizes the rights of all people to live peacefully in society and freely express their beliefs.
